Kid Central is our growing Children’s Ministry at Cornerstone Christian Church. Our goal is to provide a loving, caring atmosphere where children can learn about the love of Jesus.
Kid Central meets during the Morning Worship service every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
The Kid Central Choir (age 4 to 5th grade) meets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening during our Family Night. We sing in our morning worship services periodically throughout the year. We also have a short prayer and devotion time, followed by a game or a craft.
BIRTH-AGE 2 – WEE KIDS
Children learn at this young age that they are special! Our loving nursery staff provides a safe, clean, and secure environment where children can sing and play.
We also provide a staffed nursery during our weekly Family Night on Wednesday evenings.
AGES 3-5 – KID. JR.
Due to our growth in our Kid Central Ministry, we have recently added a full hour program for this age group. During this hour, children are taught about the love of Jesus through stories, songs, craft, and playtime.
GRADES 1-5
Students in the above age groups take an active part during the praise portion of our morning worship service.
Before the “adult” sermon time begins, the kids who want to come up to the front of the church are prayed for by the congregation before they are dismissed to our educational wing for their age appropriate lesson.
Various instructional methods are used to reinforce the Bible lesson. These methods include story telling, arts & crafts, cooking and science.
We also have fun at other times, too. Other outside activities have been lock-ins at the church, picnics at the park, family movie nights, just to name a few!
JUNIOR HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL-KID SR.
Cornerstone offers a junior high/senior high youth group. They meet on Wednesday nights, during Family Night. Our youth are challenged weekly with insightful lessons. They are active participants in our church, serving the Lord with their talents.
